NZFN is proud to have achieved Best Places to Work Gold-level certification, recognising the strength of its workplace culture and the experience of its people.

For NZFN’s team of 25 staff operating across both islands, this recognition reflects a people-first culture shaped by care, trust, shared purpose and a commitment to doing meaningful work well.

NZFN believes that strong culture supports strong outcomes. Creating a workplace where people feel valued and supported helps the organisation better serve the communities it works alongside.

“We’re really proud of this recognition because it reflects our people,” said Gavin Findlay, CEO of NZFN. “For a small organisation, culture is shaped every day by how we work together, support one another and stay connected to our purpose.”

Best Places to Work is a workplace certification programme that gathers confidential feedback from employees to assess organisational culture and employee experience. Through this process, NZFN’s team were able to share their views on how it feels to work within the organisation, with the Gold-level certification reflecting strong alignment across the team.

NZFN is also grateful to the EMA for supporting participation in the programme and for their ongoing support of the organisation’s work.

NZFN has celebrated the milestone internally with staff across both locations and will continue using the certification over the coming year to support recruitment, employer reputation and stakeholder confidence.
